How Mykori Dessert Cafe Started

Mykori Dessert Cafe is the 21st century version of the traditional Japanese Dessert House in Malaysia. Since opening our first outlet in Bandar Puchong Jaya in 2016, Mykori has grown to become the market leader in the premium shaved ice dessert sector in Malaysia — built on a no-compromise approach to ingredients, presentation, and service.

Today Mykori Dessert Cafe operates 46 outlets across Malaysia, from Klang Valley to Sarawak.

Company History

It all started with a Japanese pastry. Taiyaki is a fish-shaped croissant pastry with sweet and savoury fillings — and it was the spark that started everything. From learning how it was made to securing the signature moulds and ingredients, Mykori launched with an authentic Japanese range adapted for local tastes.

Not content with just pastries, the menu expanded to include kakigori, a signature Korean shaved ice layered with fresh fruits, sauces, and toppings, followed by Shibuya toast, buttermilk waffles, artisanal cakes, and a full Korean-inspired food menu.

Mykori is grateful for every customer, licensee, and partner who has been part of this journey.
